M2 Consulting, PLLC was founded on a simple premise: the people best equipped to guide projects through government processes are the people who once ran those processes. Our principals have served as Public Works Directors, County Engineers, Planning Directors, Public Utility District Contracting Department Managers, and senior WSDOT design and construction executives – writing the standards, policies, and codes that shape engineering practice for public works, transportation, and public and municipal utilities in Washington State and nationally.
Civil engineer and government executive with over 30 years of experience in infrastructure design, capital project delivery, and organizational leadership. Former Public Works Director, County Engineer, and Planning Director in jurisdictions across Washington and Montana, with key engineering positions at WSDOT. FMSIB board member; served on the WA Dept. of Ecology Stormwater Manual Technical Committee.

Civil engineer with over 29 years of experience in transportation design, construction administration, and public policy leadership. As WSDOT's Deputy State Design Engineer, Mike has helped shape major state and national engineering standards, including AASHTO Geometric Design Guidelines.
